Salame Gentile (big):

Famous Traditional Italian seasoned salami, obtained from Italian pork meats with only a few salt and black pepper, flavoured with grinded garlic, and filtered in wine.

To produce Salame Gentile, Salumificio Peveri uses only the so called "trito di banco", a precious cut of pork meat, in addiction with some parts from the loin, the belly, and the ham.

Once stuffed in natural pork gut, the salami is hand-tied with natural fiber string. At the end of the natural seasoning, which takes at least forty days, Salame Gentile astounds the senses with a delicate scent and a sweet, slightly spicy taste.

Salame Gentile must be sliced with a knife, with a sloping "flute beak" cut, and the thickness of the slice must be equal to the size of a pepper grain.

The aroma is intense, with delicate spicy notes, and a pleasant scent of seasoned meat. The taste is soft, delicious, sweet and delicately salty.
